Southampton are reportedly in talks with Under Armour regarding a deal to make the kit designers their new official kit makers ahead of the new season.
The Saints, currently in a deal with Adidas, have found the relationship with the company fairly rocky in the past as shown by their reluctance to work with them when designing their 2013-14 kit, cancelling their contract with Adidas and opting to keep the kits self-made by the club itself.
However, this season, Saints’ kits and training kits have been made by the huge company.
Despite satisfaction among fans and the club regarding the gear that Adidas have helped Southampton to release, there has been huge talk of developing American company Under Armour taking the reigns over the designs.
Under Armour is already the kit designers for fellow Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur, with a unique kit design being occupied by Spurs this season as a result of the ever-growing company’s work.
