Southampton among host of clubs looking for Mor

Southampton are reportedly among a large amount of clubs said to be considering making a move young Norsjaelland midfielder, Emre Mor.

The 18-year-old has been the subject of a lot of interest from a host of clubs across Europe such as Manchester City, Galatasaray, Arsenal and Everton, with the Gunners emerging as the latest to take a shine to the Saints target.

Mor’s representatives are said to have held a meeting with his parent club in Danish city Copenhagen in order to discuss the future of their client, amid interest from the European heavyweights.

Manchester United and Liverpool were both reportedly interested in the youngster months ago, scouting the Danish prospect.

Despite Mor appearing just twice for his club so far this campaign, he has impressed on several occasions at youth level for his native Denmark, representing his country at under-17, under-18 and under-19 level.

Mor’s versatility is a key attribute to his game, with the freedom to play out wide or in his more predominant role; through central midfield. This ability to play in a range of positions has helped him to become a target for a host of clubs looking to secure a deal for the young midfielder.
