Southampton are the latest Premier League club to be linked with exciting young Utrecht striker Sebastien Haller as boss Ronald Koeman looks to end his side’s woes in front of goal with a new attacking signing this January.
The 21-year-old has been in superb form for the Dutch outfit this season, bagging an impressive 11 goals in 16 games in the Eredivise; a league that Koeman and Saints seem to like to buy from.
The French forward has represented his country at every youth level up to the under-21’s and could look to move away from Utrecht in the search of pursuing his France national side career with Euro 2016 in mind.

If Southampton are to make a move for Haller, he will not come cheaply. The six foot two Frenchman is expected to cost up to £7.5 million in January but it could be a price that Saints are willing to pay to salvage something from their underwhelming season so far.
Sunderland are among the clubs interested, but Haller is certainly a player that could prove to be the difference for the Saints if a move is in the offing.
