Southampton pair Jason McCarthy and Lloyd Isgrove have both extended their loans further away from St. Mary’s for up to a further month.
McCarthy has been on loan at League Two promotion hopefuls Wycombe Wanderers for the course of the season so far and after the 20-year-old has become a crucial part of the Chair Boys’ defence this campaign, manager Gareth Ainsworth has ensured McCarthy’s future with the club up until February 3.

Fellow Southampton youngster Lloyd Isgrove has also extended his spell at League One strugglers Barnsley after a string of impressive performances for the Tykes. Isgrove’s emergency loan has been extended by the club for a maximum of 93 more days as the 22-year-old has already racked up 11 appearances for his side. The Welshman has helped Barnsley to two consecutive victories over Blackpool and Millwall recently, therefore getting his loan spell extended.
