Southampton have emerged as one of the many Premier League clubs to take an interest in Chelsea forward Loic Remy, with the January transfer window in mind.
Saints boss Ronald Koeman has recently spoke of his desire to bolster his attacking options in the winter transfer window and as a result of Southampton’s goal-shy form, Remy could be the man to change Koeman’s side’s fortunes.
However, there is stiff competition elsewhere for Remy’s services in the league, with Aston Villa reportedly making an enquiry about the Frenchman. Also, Crystal Palace and Swansea are among the clubs looking to move for the Chelsea striker.

Remy has found life at Chelsea fairly difficult since his arrival at Stamford Bridge from QPR, being forced to the bench by starting striker Diego Costa.
The 28-year-old France international has scored eight goals in 28 games for Chelsea; an impressive record from mainly cameo appearances under Jose Mourinho.
Do you think that Remy would solve Southampton’s current poor run of form?
