Tottenham were the latest side to put a struggling Southampton to the sword this afternoon as they cruised to a comfortable 2-0 victory at St. Mary’s due to a quickfire double from Harry Kane and Dele Alli in the first half.
For Southampton this season, there has been a huge lack of passion and consistency among the squad, mixed in with the sloppy individual mistakes that have been present throughout; a problem that has to be rectified in the not-so distant future.
