On an afternoon with not much to shout about for The Saints, Crystal Palace cruised to a comfortable 1-0 victory to pile more misery on Ronald Koeman’s struggling Southampton side.
A Yohan Cabaye goal was enough to secure all three points for The Eagles on the day, despite his side forcing numerous saves from stand-in goalkeeper, Paulo Gazzaniga. There were big chances for Shane Long and Steven Davis for The Saints respectively, however they were not taken and were made to rue their errors.
Here’s how I rated Southampton’s players against Crystal Palace.
