Southampton managed to secure a point late on against a persistent Liverpool side at Anfield as Sadio Mane managed to grab a last-minute equaliser before being shown two yellow cards and therefore being sent off.
It’s safe to say that it was a tense match, with action coming from end to end throughout the game, but Southampton will be happy to have come away with a hard-earned and well deserved away point at Anfield, taking them up to 8th place and retaining their unbeaten away record in the Premier League so far this season.
