In a frustrating afternoon for Southampton, it is safe to say that there were not many stand-out performers on the pitch; even after such a good first half. Sloppy errors were made throughout the second half, and several players were to blame for silly little individual faults; some being more pivotal than others.
Southampton will need to sharpen up defensively and grab the game by the scruff of the neck against Liverpool next weekend if they are to get anything from the game. The second half put on against Leicester was very simply unacceptable.
