Atalanta are looking set to complete the signing of Charleroi striker Victor Osimhen, who has been linked with a move to Southampton.
According to claims from Belgian news outlet DH, the Serie A club are closing in on a deal for the promising Nigerian attacker, with the Italian club ready to spend €15 million.
Southampton had been noted as potential suitors for Osimhen, who enjoyed an excellent season in the Pro League during a loan spell with Charleroi.

Following such an impressive temporary stint in Belgium, the club activated their option to purchase the 20-year-old for a meagre €3.5 million, which saw him join permanently from VfL Wolfsburg.
However, Charleroi appear to be keen for a quick profit and are likely to sell Osimhen to Atalanta for €15 million in the near future, according to DH.
Gian Piero Gasperini led his side to a third-place finish in Serie A last season, ensuring Champions League football ahead of the 2019/20 campaign.
