According to The Times, Liverpool could be set to offer Jordan Ibe as part of a deal to sign Sadio Mane from Southampton.
Liverpool are thought to be keen on signing Mane this summer, with the winger having a £25m price tag on his head. However, Southampton may be willing to reduce the price if they also get Jordan Ibe as part of the deal.
The Saints are thought to be interested in Jordan Ibe, so it could work out well for both sides of the negotiations.
Mane has been linked to a number of top teams in recent weeks; Bayern Munich, Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool have all been touted with interest.
Ronald Koeman will be hoping that he can keep his star player, but may settle for getting Jordan Ibe in return to fill the gap in his squad. However, it is unknown at the moment how Southampton would feel about this option.
