A number of Southampton fans have pinpointed one particular area in need of strengthening in the summer on Twitter.
Saints fans were responding to a post from @Saints_FCLive questioning which area of Ralph Hasenhuttl‘s squad most needs reinforcing in the summer, with the full-back positions highlighted in many of the replies.

Hasenhuttl currently only has Kyle Walker-Peters, Ryan Bertrand and Kayne Ramsay at his disposal for the two full-back positions, with the latter very inexperienced at Premier League level.
In truth, the Austrian’s lack of squad depth across all positions has been laid bare recently when the Saints were down to the bare bones in terms of availability, culminating in that 9-0 shellacking at the hands of Manchester United.
