Tottenham make approach to sign Danny Ings
Tottenham have made an approach to sign Southampton striker Danny Ings, as per a report in The Telegraph.
Not content with the signings of Gareth Bale and Sergio Reguilon, Spurs have also looked to add an attacker to their squad and have made an approach to Saints about Ings.
However, Southampton have told Spurs that the England international is not for sale, so the North London club have not made any official bid at this time.

Given how well he played last season, it’s no surprise to see clubs sniffifing around Ings but Saints are absolutely right to hold onto their star man, unless a bid that is simply too good to turn down is made.
For Ings, staying with Saints seems like the best option for him too. After two injury-hit years at Liverpool followed by a spell of inactivity at Anfield, he left The Reds in search of regular football and a move to Spurs, where Harry Kane is clearly the main man, could see him go back to a bit-part role and he is too good to be a bench player elsewhere.
