Boufal pictured in pre-season training with Saints
Southampton winger Sofiane Boufal has returned to pre-season training following his involvement in the Africa Cup of Nations.
The Morocco international represented his country at this summer’s tournament after playing for Celta Vigo on loan during the 2018/19 season.
Boufal was sent out on a temporary basis after a falling out with previous Saints boss Mark Hughes towards the end of the 2017/18 campaign but has now returned to the club.
The 25-year-old is a part of the divided squad that is working in Dublin this week, with the other half led by Ralph Hasenhuttl in Macau, where Southampton will take on Chinese Super League club Guangzhou R&F.
A training gallery uploaded by the Saints on Twitter displayed Boufal, all smiles, as he was put through his paces.

Whether or not he will be playing his football at St Mary’s Stadium next season remains to be seen, but he was seemingly hard at work upon his return to the club.
