Southampton hope to sell Austin and Lemina this week
Southampton want to sell both Charlie Austin and Mario Lemina this week, according to a report from The Evening Standard.
The Saints are actively seeking to offload both players, and Ralph Hasenhuttl is seemingly keen for them to swiftly be moved on by the club as pre-season preparations begin to step up.
Austin and Lemina were excluded from the manager’s 26-man squad for the trip to Austria this week, with the group having flown out on Monday.
The Evening Standard reports that by the time Southampton return from their ventures abroad, they hope that the experienced pair will have officially secured transfers away.
Hasenhuttl’s men are in Austria for a week and will conclude their time in the country with a friendly against SCR Altach on Sunday afternoon.
Lemina is a transfer target for Manchester United, Arsenal and Leicester City, while Austin could be moved on after falling down the pecking order of strikers towards the end of last season.
