He becomes Southampton’s first signing of the transfer window as Ralph Hasenhuttl looks to mould his squad for the 2019/20 campaign.

Not only is he the first in the door this summer, but he is also Hasenhuttl’s maiden purchase as Southampton manager.
The Austrian took over at St. Mary’s last December, but opted not to make any signings in the January transfer window – keeping faith with the squad he inherited, as they went on to secure survival in the Premier League.
Djenepo joins from Standard Liege after an impressive campaign with the Belgian outfit. He was directly involved in 10 goals in 32 league matches, finding the back of the net eight times and assisting two more.
