Southampton striker Jonathan Afolabi will leave the club on a free transfer this summer after rejecting the new contract that was offered to him, according to a report from Football Insider.
According to the report, the 19-year-old has offers on the table from four English sides; two in the Premier League, one in the Championship and one in League One.

Afolabi joined the Saints back in 2016 and has progressed through the club’s academy structure, playing well for the U18s and U23s.
However, the Irish star wants to play regular first-team football and it looks like he’s decided that he needs to leave St Mary’s in order to get the regular minutes on the field that he desires.
Saints wanted to sign Afolabi to a new deal that would have seen him stay with the club but he’s decided his future lies elsewhere and as such, he’ll now leave the club on a free transfer.
