Bournemouth could beat Southampton to the signing of Fiorentina goalkeeper Bartlomiej Dragowski.
According to claims from Sportitalia, as cited in a report from Football Italia, the Cherries are looking to pip the Saints to the Polish shot-stopper, who is available this summer.
Dragowski was outstanding for Empoli on loan last season but could not help the club stay afloat in Serie A, as a final-day defeat to Inter Milan saw them relegated. The young goalkeeper did, however, amass 13 saves in a heroic display at San Siro.

Reports on Saturday indicated that Southampton were poised to tie up a deal worth €10 million and additional bonuses for the 21-year-old. However, their Premier League counterparts Bournemouth are apparently prepared to better this offer.
Sportitalia, via Football Italia, reports that Eddie Howe’s side have bid €11 million for Dragowski, along with an additional €4 million in bonuses.
Bournemouth struggled to establish a starting goalkeeper throughout last season, and it seems they are intent on swooping for the Polish youngster, who Southampton were reportedly in advanced negotiations to sign.
