Bournemouth join race to sign Kalvin Phillips
Bournemouth are set to rival Southampton to the signing of Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips.
According to Football Insider, Bournemouth are preparing a £25m double swoop for Kalvin Phillips and Jack Clarke from Leeds.
Southampton have been linked with a move for Phillips, who has impressed in the Championship this season for the Yorkshire-based side.
Leeds are currently sat second in the Championship, four points behind league leaders Norwich – with Sheffield United three points behind in third.
If Leeds are able to secure promotion to the Premier League, neither Bournemouth nor Southampton may be able to land Phillips – who would be a key player for Leeds in the top-flight.
Earlier this month, Phillips was named in the official Championship Team of the Season, following his excellent performances for Leeds this season.
The 23-year-old has made over 100 appearances for Leeds since breaking through into the first-team in 2014.
