Southampton are set to sign Birmingham City starlet Romello Mitchell, according to the Birmingham Mail.
The 16-year old will move to St Mary’s Stadium after having undergone a successful trial with the Premier League outfit.
The highly regarded forward had been linked with a move to Manchester United and Liverpool in recent times, and this move will finally put transfer speculation to bed.

Mitchell, who has played for Birmingham’s Under-18s this season, is regarded as one of the best and brightest players from that group.
The signing will be seen as a coup for Southampton, who will look to continue their storied history of bringing through talented youths at the club.
The Saints will pay Birmingham a fee of around £300,000 in compensation for the player, who scored twice in the Under-16s Blades Cup final which Birmingham won 8-4 against Liverpool in December.
