Southampton defender Yan Valery is reportedly set to represent the Tunisian national team at senior level.
According to a report from Kawarji, the right-back has committed his future to playing for the African side at international level despite being selected for France’s youth sides in previous years.
Valery represented Les Bleus at Under-17 and Under-18 level but has failed to feature since.

The Saints youngster made his senior debut for the club this season under Mark Hughes and has since gone on to play an involved role under the management of Ralph Hasenhuttl.
After impressing in the Under-23 side and more recently the first team, it seems Valery has attracted international attention, with Tunisian news outlet Kawarji stating that he has committed himself to the country for the foreseeable future.
Alain Giresse, who recently arrived in the coaching setup of the national team, is reported to have been in contact with the former Rennes youngster as he looked to secure his services.
