Manolo Gabbiadini’s agent has confirmed that the striker is happy to stay with the Saints beyond the January window.
Speaking to Radio Sportiva, as cited on Calciomercato, Silvio Pagliari put to bed any rumours about the Italian’s future.
All talk is possible for Southampton, we are happy to stay.
It had been suggested that the striker could be on his way back to the Serie A in January.
Bologna and Fiorentina were heavily linked with moves to sign the player, but Southampton are refusing to let the player leave as he remains part of their plans.

It is believed that the player’s wages were also causing doubts over a potential Italy return on a permanent basis.
Despite the striker being out of favour at St Mary’s, the club want to keep hold of him until the summer at least.
After a bright start to life at Southampton when he first arrived, Gabbiadini has since become some of a peripheral figure at the club, making just two starts in the Premier League this season.
