Southampton are supposedly interested in signing Slovenian starlet Gal Puconja.
A report from Tutto Mercato (translated by Sport Witness) has claimed that the 14-year-old has impressed Saints’ scouts recently, and the south-coast club are now looking at finding a way to add him to their books.
Not alone in their pursuit of Puconja though, Southampton are said to be rivalling Bologna and AS Monaco.

Currently playing Slovenian U15 football, Tutto Mercato claim that Puconja has shown ‘good vision’ and ‘top technical quality’.
The prospect is also said to be at home as a forward, or an attacking midfielder.
Whilst Southampton certainly have some degree of interest, it should be noted that the Tutto Mercato report simply states that Mark Hughes’ side have made ‘first enquiries’ into the supposed future star.
Sport Witness tracked down the attacker’s performance so far this season on a Slovenian website, which they claim shows Puconja as having scored four goals in 14 appearances for side Bravo Publikum.
