Spartak Moscow have joined Southampton in being linked with a move to hire the recently-sacked Leonardo Jardim.
According to reports in Russia, as cited on HITC, Jardim is one of three managers that Spartak have on their radar.
The report claims that they have also shortlisted Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers and Russia boss Stanislav Cherchesov.
Southampton have been linked with a move to hire Jardim as a potential replacement for Mark Hughes, with pressure beginning to mount on the Saints boss.
There are already concerns over Hughes’ immediate future after a poor start to the new Premier League season.

Jardim was sacked by Monaco recently following a poor start to the campaign, despite being very highly thought of for the job he did with the Ligue 1 outfit.
He helped guide the club to the French title and was lauded for his tactical knowledge and style of play, meaning he would certainly be considered as a coup if Southampton could land him.
