Bournemouth have been left to sweat over the fitness of key attacking duo Josh King and Ryan Fraser ahead of their clash with Southampton, the Daily Echo reports.

The Cherries have been in impressive form this season and much of this is owed to their attacking players. Bournemouth have scored 16 goals in eight Premier League games, with King and Fraser performing well.

However, Eddie Howe could be without two of his key men for the Saints’ visit to the Vitality Stadium, as he monitors their respective ankle and hamstring injuries ahead of the encounter.

Southampton will be desperate to keep Bournemouth’s attacking players at bay on Saturday as they look to win only their second game in the top-flight this season.

King and Fraser’s respective absences would certainly be a helping hand to Mark Hughes’ side, given their influence for sixth-placed Bournemouth this term.

Norway international King has scored four Premier League goals, with Fraser also chipping in with three goals and three assists from out wide.
