Gabbiadini’s agent insists he’s happy at Southampton
Southampton striker Manolo Gabbiadini’s agent Silvio Pagliari has insisted that the player remains happy with the club.
Gabbiadini recently spoke out on his confusion regarding recent exclusions from the starting line-up, admitting to being left frustrated by the shortage of regular opportunities.
However, Pagliari has been speaking to the Italian media and has insisted that despite some difficult recent challenges, Gabbiadini is happy at Southampton and determined to make his mark on the Premier League.
Speaking to Radio Sportivo, as cited in a report from Calciomercato, Pagliari confirmed that Gabbiadini had offers from Serie A clubs in the summer but reiterated his client’s desire to succeed at St Mary’s.
Gabbiadini? He’s happy at Southampton. There was the possibility of returning to Italy, but right now we want to play the cards in the Premier League.
Gabbiadini has started Southampton’s last two competitive fixtures and will be desperate to continue forcing his way into Mark Hughes’ plans on a more regular basis.
The Italian international will be vying for a starting place alongside Danny Ings when Southampton travel to Bournemouth this weekend.
