Bristol City are set to make a last-gasp move for Southampton defender Sam McQueen, Football Insider reports.
With City left-back Joe Bryan set to join Aston Villa within the next 24 hours, Bristol are looking to McQueen as his replacement and is the club’s top target.
Clubs have before 5pm tomorrow to get any permanent deals over the line and so Bristol will have to move quickly if they hope to secure their man.
Bristol boss Lee Johnson is said to be a huge admirer of McQueen, who has worked his way up through the Saints academy.

McQueen is under contract with the Premier League club until 2021, but he could be allowed to leave after having only started two games for Southampton last year.
The 23-year-old is behind both Ryan Bertrand and Matt Targett in the pecking order for the first-choice left-back spot, but would likely be first-choice if he were to seal a move to Bristol.
