Nice and Besiktas offered the chance to sign Sofiane Boufal
Nice and Besiktas have both been offered the chance to sign Southampton winger Sofiane Boufal this summer.
The Mirror reports that Nice could land the player on loan, with the Morrocan out of Mark Hughes’ plans this season.
Fellow Ligue 1 side Marseille are also said to be watching the player’s situation at St Mary’s.
Turkish outlet Fanatik report that the Bestikas have also been offered the sign Boufal on loan with the option of a permanent deal.
Signed last summer as a promising and exciting replacement for Sadio Mane, Boufal fell out of favour under Hughes and the two clashed throughout the second half of the season.
He joined the club in a deal worth nearly £16 million, but he has failed to deliver for the Saints.
The winger’s exit was all but confirmed when he was left out of the club’s pre-season tour of China.
The Saints have already signed Mohamed Elyounoussi this summer, who could be viewed as a direct replacement.
