Sheffield United are ready to up their efforts to sign Southampton striker Sam Gallagher.
According to The Sheffield Star, the club are set to increase their interest in Gallagher.
This comes after they sold star midfielder David Brooks to Bournemouth for £12m earlier this week.

Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder is now looking to use that influx of cash to make improvements to his squad and sees Gallagher as an ideal target.
Gallagher spent last season on loan to Birmingham in the Championship, where his goals helped the club stay afloat in the division.
He also scored 12 goals for Blackburn on loan in the 2016/17 season in the second tier of English football.
Southampton are ready to cash in on the striker, who does not appear ready to make the step up to Premier League football with the club next season.
