French clubs keen on Boufal move
A host of Ligue 1 clubs are interested in signing Southampton winger Sofiane Boufal this summer.
According to Le Parisien, OGC Nice and Stade Rennais are both keen on a deal for Boufal over the coming months.
The report claims that both clubs are waiting for the chance to bring Boufal back to France.
This comes after a falling out with Southampton manager Mark Hughes towards the end of last season.
Boufal has struggled over his two years in England, failing to live up to his price tag on the south coast.
He now looks set to leave Southampton this summer and a return to France appears the likeliest route for the forward.
Boufal joined Southampton from Lille in 2016, for a fee in the region of £16m – but has never been able to nail down a regular place in the starting XI.
The report also claims that, despite Boufal wanting the move, Marseille are not interested.
