Southampton forward Manolo Gabbiadini’s agent has claimed his player is content at the club, as reported by TMW.
There have been numerous reports suggesting the player will leave the Saints after being forced to play a rotational role last term, appearing in just 17 matches in all competitions.
The Italian joined the Saints back in 2017 and is keen to get his future resolved after helping them narrowly avoid relegation.
He scored the vital goal in the penultimate match of the season against Swansea which effectively kept the Saints up and sent the side from South Wales down.
Saints have recently appointed Mark Hughes as permanent first team manager and this could persuade Gabbiadini to remain at the club beyond the summer.
The player’s agent has quashed any claims that Gabbiadini will be looking to leave in the window, saying that the player wants to continue his journey in the division:
We will continue the Premier experience. He is young and I do not think there are any possibilities for his return [to Italy].
In the market everything can happen even if the relationship is strong with Southampton.
