Southampton have been linked with a move for Lazio playmaker Felipe Anderson.
According to claims from Tuttosport, as cited in a report by Football Italia, the Saints are among a trio of Premier League clubs chasing the signature of the Brazilian attacker.
The 25-year-old was used only sporadically by Simone Inzaghi throughout last season at Lazio but still impressed when called upon. Anderson contributed, from only 32 appearances, with a respectable tally of eight goals along with 10 assists.

Southampton are out to reinforce their attacking ranks this summer and it seems Anderson has emerged as a target, with a summer move away from Lazio on the cards.
Although any potential fee is not named by Tuttosport, it’s believed that Southampton are preparing to make an offer for Anderson as they look to accelerate their plans for the transfer window.
Mark Hughes’ men face competition from elsewhere, however, with West Ham and Leicester City also keen to sign Anderson.
