Southampton are reportedly keen to sign Tobias Pachonik from Carpi FC on a free transfer this summer.
According to an exclusive report from Turkish-Football, the Saints have emerged as a potential destination for the full-back, who will be available for free following the expected expiration of his contract at Carpi next month.
A host of clubs are understood to be considering a swoop to land Pachonik this summer, including Championship outfit Aston Villa. Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt are also named as a potential destination for the player, whilst Italian giants Fiorentina have also been linked.

Pachonik is stated to have enjoyed a good season in the second tier of Italian football last term. He was named in the Serie B Team of the Season following his exploits throughout the campaign.
Southampton could be on the lookout for a new right-back this summer, with Jeremy Pied’s contract expiring at the end of next month.
Saints have a track record for recruiting right-backs in cheap deals, as exemplified by their £1m signing of Cuco Martina in 2015 and the arrival of Pied on a free from OGC Nice in 2016.
A deal to sign Pachonik, 23, on a free transfer is seemingly a lucrative prospect for Saints as preparations begin ahead of next season.
