Southampton youngster Sam McQueen is set to join Bristol City in the near future as Joe Bryan nears an exit from the Championship club, according to a report from the Mirror.
McQueen has been linked with a move to Lee Johnson’s side in recent weeks and it appears as though a transfer could be on the cards, with Bristol City seeking a replacement for Bryan.
It’s claimed in the report that the left-back is nearing a move to Burnley for a fee of £6m following an impressive season at Ashton Gate.

Saints are set to be well-stocked with left-back options ahead of next season, with Ryan Bertrand available and Matt Targett returning from his successful loan spell at Fulham.
McQueen has been a reliable performer when called upon at Saints but a move away is seemingly likely, according to the Mirror, as Bristol City close in.
Whether or not the deal will be on a temporary basis or a permanent transfer, however, is not yet clear.
