Manchester United want to sign a new right-back this summer, according to the Mirror, and Southampton’s Cedric Soares is apparently one of the players who they are considering a move for.
Cedric has been linked with United over the course of the past two transfer windows and it seems the interest from Old Trafford is lingering, with Jose Mourinho keen to bolster his wide defensive options.
Tottenham Hotspur have also been linked with a move for Cedric ahead of next season but no move has materialised yet, as United continue their interest.

Joao Cancelo, who currently plays for Valencia, is understood by the Mirror to be a top target for Mourinho this summer. However, if the Red Devils are unable to obtain the right-back, it seems Cedric may be considered.
According to a recent report from the Telegraph, Saints will welcome offers for Cedric and his fellow full-back Ryan Bertrand should they pursue an exit from the club this summer.
Cedric has two more years left on his deal on the South Coast but despite a poor season with Saints, it seems interest from the top six of the Premier League still remains.
