Matt Targett has told GetWestLondon that he has not had any contact with anyone from Southampton since he left the club to join Fulham on loan in January.
The 22-year-old has also admitted that there is a possibility of him moving to the Whites in the summer.
When asked how much contact he’d had with the Saints since moving to Craven Cottage, he said:
Believe it or not, I’ve had none. They’re in a sticky patch themselves so we’ll just have to wait and see what happens at the end of the season.

The left back was also asked if there was a chance that he could make his loan a permanent move next season and he admitted that it is certainly a possibility.
It is certainly an option, everyone wants to play Premier League football and if Fulham are in the Premier League then I don’t see why not. I’ve enjoyed every minute here at Fulham, we haven’t lost yet while I’ve been here and we have to keep that run going.
GetWestLondon report that some of other of Fulham’s loanee players, such as Chelsea’s Tomas Kalas and Lucas Piazon, have regular meetings with officials form their parent clubs but Southampton have decided to leave Targett to his own devices.
