Southampton have been linked with a move for Celtic youngster Jeremie Frimpong in recent weeks.
And a recent report has shared the Scottish giants’ asking price for the 20-year-old ahead of the January window.
According to Italian outlet La Gazzeta della Sport, cited by the Glasgow Evening Times, a £13.5m asking price has been set, with Serie A giants AS Roma weighing up a move for the Dutch ace.
Frimpong’s current Transfermarkt valuation stands at £2.7m, so the fee quoted by the Hoops is five times his market value.

Even though the fee his way above his current valuation, we feel as if Ralph Hasenhuttl won’t be put off by that figure.
The Austrian is reportedly keen to add to his full-back ranks in the New Year, with Manchester United’s Brandon Williams also linked with a St Mary’s switch.
Landing Frimpong would bolster Hasenhuttl’s full-back ranks, with the 20-year-old also capable of turning out in a more advanced role.
Frimpong’s current Celtic Park deal runs until 2023, so realistically, we feel as if a £13.5m fee is a fair price.
Should the Saints seal a deal and Frimpong improves on the south coast, in time, that fee could be looked back on as another transfer masterstroke.
