Southampton goalkeeper Fraser Forster is remaining coy over his future beyond the end of the season.
Forster is currently on loan to Celtic from Southampton and says that all he is thinking about is playing well for the Hoops and contributing to the team.
When asked about his future, Forster said this to the Celtic View, as transcribed by 67 Hail Hail:
For me, I want to win every game between now and the end of the season. That’s my first priority and what I think about in terms of what the future holds. I want to contribute and do my bit for the team.

Forster is not giving much away, but Celtic assistant manager John Kenedy did openly admit earlier this week that the club would be interested in signing him permanently. Kenedy also claimed that Forster is happy at Celtic, suggesting that he could be keen to stay in Scotland beyond the summer.
With no deal seemingly in place, it makes sense for Forster to stay tight-lipped on the matter. As of right now, he is set to be a Southampton player again ahead of next season and that means there is still a chance that he could be given an opportunity by Ralph Hasenhuttl.
However, if Hasenhuttl decides that he does not want to use Forster and is happy with Alex McCarthy and Angus Gunn, allowing him to join Celtic could be a good move. Forster is thriving in Scotland, with a match rating of 7.14 in the Europa League so far. Kenedy’s comments would suggest that the club are keen to keep him, which means a permanent move to Celtic could be the best outcome for all parties involved.
