The young full-back has been superb in recent times, bursting onto the scene with Saints and showing his quality in the Premier League, Europa League and the EFL Cup.
Originally a left-sided midfielder, McQueen has been moved to left-back this season by new manager Claude Puel and it looks to have been a masterstroke, with the versatile young player earning plenty of plaudits with some excellent performances.

McQueen was introduced to regular first-team football on the south coast during the 3-1 win over Burnley earlier in the season, with Matt Targett and Ryan Bertrand both picking up hamstring injuries.
This meant that young McQueen was forced to be thrown into the deep end and he hasn’t looked back since, with a string of mature and impressive showings.
McQueen is showing a lot of promise and will hope to continue his development with Saints for years to come.
