Southampton have reportedly not offered Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg a new contract as of yet.
According to Adam Blackmore of BBC Solent, Southampton have not been in talks with Hojbjerg over an extended deal, despite a report claiming that he has turned down an offer from the club.

Football Insider had reported that the Dane switched agents and rejected a new contract from the club. The report also claimed that Premier League side Tottenham are lining up a summer swoop for the midfielder.
However, Blackmore refutes these claims and says that talks will only take place after Southampton hit 36 Premier League points, with the club currently on 34.
Despite this latest update from Blackmore, we feel it could still be a good move by the club to sell Hojbjerg at the end of the season. Although suggestions that he has turned down an extension have been rejected, it could still happen when the Saints eventually get around to offering him a deal.
If this is the case and Tottenham’s interest is genuine, it could be best for all parties involved to get a deal done.
Hojbjerg will have just 12 months left on his contract when the summer transfer window opens for business, which means Southampton could run the risk of losing him for nothing if they allow his deal to run down.
Instead, they could cash in on him in the summer and sell him to Spurs – if they come in with a reasonable offer for the Danish international that is.
Southampton have Will Smallbone coming through the ranks, so Hojbjerg leaving may well open up more opportunities for him to gain first-team minutes next season. This means that Hojbjerg joining Tottenham could also help Southampton develop one of their young stars further and make their own replacement for the Dane, rather than having to shell out millions on a new player.
