Southampton’s Pierre Emile Hojbjerg has been linked with a shock deadline day move away from St Mary’s, with Leicester City the latest side to be touted with a move, as per Ekstra Bladet.
The report from Denmark states that Brendan Rodgers’ side are the latest side to show an interest in the midfielder and that the Foxes have been the most eager to get a potential deal over the line for Hojbjerg.
Leicester have reportedly held talks with Southampton already over a potential deal, whilst the report also states that Tottenham Hotspur have also shown an interest in signing Hojbjerg.
The Saints skipper has also seen interest from the likes of Everton and Arsenal, who could be tempted to launch a last-minute bid to sign the midfielder.
Several Leicester City fans have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts about a potential deal for the Dane, with many being positive about a potential switch, but being realistic that it probably won’t happen before the window slams shut.
