Southampton’s Cedric could be on his way to Arsenal, according to the latest reports from Sky Sports.
The Portuguese defender is out of contract at Southampton at the end of the season and had previously expressed his desire to leave the club at the end of his deal.
Reports from Sky Sports say that the Gunners are to launch a late move to bring Cedric to the Gunners, ending his five-year spell at the Saints.
Several Southampton fans took to Twitter to voice their opinions about a potential departure for Cedric, with many believing the Saints will make a mistake if they sell him.

However, some Southampton fans were more positive about letting him go, especially as if he was to leave in the summer it would be on a free transfer.

Cedric has played 138 games so far in his Southampton career, and spent last season on loan at Inter Milan.
