Southampton are reportedly watching Celtic’s Jeremie Frimpong, according to the Athletic.
The Saints are reportedly after a full-back in this transfer window, as per Sky Sports, and Frimpong would certainly fit that bill.
Despite only moving to Celtic this summer from Manchester City, The Athletic, reveal that Southampton are one of a number of teams that are interested in a deal for the defender.
The defender is out injured at the minute, but became a fan favourite for the Hoops after scoring the winning goal in the Scottish League Cup Final against Rangers.

A lot of people at Celtic have been full of praise for the defender, with skipper Scott Brown believing the player will be worth “serious money” to another club one day.
The defender has racked 16 appearances for the club, and has been a big rising star within the Hoops ranks so far this season.
However, thanks to his rapid rise, Southampton may have to cough up a lot of money to bring him to the club, especially after he only joined the Hoops over the summer.
