Leeds United are refusing to give up on their pursuit of Che Adams this month, according to Phil Hay.
Speaking on The Athletic Transfer Daily podcast, which was released on Monday night, Hay provided an update on Leeds’ interest in Adams.
Adams himself is very keen on the move.
Hay went on to add:
The fact that they are hanging in for Adams makes you think they must be more encouraged than the circumstances suggest they should be.
The 23-year-old has been heavily linked with a deal to join to the Championship side on loan but Ralph Hasenhuttl has continued to play down any suggestions that the forward could be on the move this month (Daily Echo).
Leeds United could certainly do with some help in the final third during the second half of the season, with the Whites relying heavily on Patrick Bamford to provide the goals. The former Middlesbrough man has scored 10 in the league so far – Jack Harrison is the closest player behind him with just five (transfermarkt).
