Max Meyer is likely to be available for Crystal Palace’s trip to Southampton this weekend, with the German recovering from an injury suffered against Arsenal, according to Eagles boss Roy Hodgson.

Speaking ahead of the clash with the Saints, via Palace’s official website, Hodgson revealed that Meyer will be available, but that no other of Palace’s injury list will be fit for the clash with Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side.
Hodgson said:
Luckily the players that played on Saturday came through. Max Meyer has recovered from the injury he picked up against Arsenal. Otherwise, the injury situation remains the same but we’re down to six missing. One of those of course is Luka, who’s suspended.

The Saints will be looking to secure a vital win on Tuesday night, especially after the poor second-half performance against Wolves at the weekend.
However, Meyer being back is a huge boost for the Eagles, who are in the midst of an injury crisis.
Mamadou Sakho, Patrick Van Aanholt, Jeffrey Schlupp, Andros Townsend and Christian Benteke are all out and Luka Milivojevic is also unavailable after being sent off in the FA Cup.
Therefore, this could be a blow to Southampton’s chances of a result.
