Celta Vigo are reportedly tracking Southampton duo Oriol Romeu and Sofiane Boufal closely as they consider moves for the pair.
According to Spanish outlet Faro de Vigo, Celta are interested in both Romeu and Boufal as they look to bolster their squad.
The report does, however, state that they have not yet made a decision on whether they want to improve their midfield in the current transfer window.
Boufal spent last season on loan to Celta, scoring three and assisting four in 35 appearances for the La Liga outfit.

READ SOUTHAMPTON VERDICT
Southampton should avoid selling Romeu this window, as he is an important member of the first-team squad. He has made 18 appearances, 12 starts, in the Premier League this season, which shows that Ralph Hasenhuttl trusts him to perform in his team. He ranks 4th for tackles per-game in the Southampton squad, which highlights the importance of his breaking up of play in the defensive third. This means that Southampton should keep him around, as he is a reliable option to start or come off the bench to see out games – an experienced head when required.
Boufal, on the other hand, has not been as important to the Saints. He has only been handed five starts by Hasenhuttl – producing no goals and just two assists. Boufal has struggled to make an impact at St. Mary’s and often finds himself sitting on the bench, with the likes of Moussa Djenepo and Nathan Redmond ahead of him. If Southampton could get a good transfer fee for Boufal, it could be a decent deal for the club – as they would not be losing a regular starting player who is making a significant impact on the pitch.
