Leeds United are keen on signing Southampton striker Che Adams for the second half of the season, and their pursuit of the 23-year-old could soon be handed a welcome boost.
That’s because the Saints, who want to add to their attacking ranks before agreeing to a potential Elland Road loan move for Adams, are keen on signing Le Havre striker Tino Kadewere, according to the Daily Mail.

The report suggests that Southampton are keen on bringing the Zimbabwe international to the Premier League, with the player himself also open to a move to England.
Bournemouth and Celtic are also credited with an interest, with Kadewere valued at £10m by the French side after scoring 17 goals in 19 games this season, via Transfermarkt.

Leeds have made Adams their top attacking target this month, with The Athletic’s Phil Hay revealing the forward’s finishing and physical strength are two attributes that have caught the Whites’ eye.
They’ll be hoping that Kadewere’s possible South Coast switch gathers pace over the coming days, which would then increase the chances of Adams leaving St Mary’s for the second half of the season.
If the Saints play their cards right, they could secure a free-scoring striker to rival Danny Ings, while also allowing Adams the chance to get some much-needed confidence back in the second-tier – only time will tell.
