Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl has ruled out the possibility of striker Che Adams leaving on loan this month.
Leeds have been heavily linked with a swoop for the forward, who has failed to score a single goal for the Saints so far this season since his £15m summer move from Birmingham.
Despite his poor return, Hasenhuttl says that Southampton need him in the second-half of the season.

It makes sense as to why Hasenhuttl would want to keep Adams at the club. They spent £15m on him and to send him out on loan just a few months later would be a bold decision by Hasenhuttl and the club.
He showed at Birmingham that he can score goals if he finds his confidence, which is what Hasenhuttl needs to instill in him in the Premier League. Danny Ings is on fire at the moment, but he is unlikely to continue to average a goal a game, as he has in the last nine, which means that Adams will need to step up and produce at some point.
