Southampton could be without Shane Long, Michael Obafemi and Yan Valery for their home clash against Tottenham Hotspur on New Years Day.
Shane Long has a knee issue that has kept him out for a short period of time and whilst the issue is getting better, Saints have yet to make a decision on his availability for the clash at St Mary’s.
Obafemi scored during the win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Boxing Day but missed the 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace due to illness and he’s still not fully recovered and as such, he could miss the Tottenham game.
Finally, Valery is a doubt for the game after picking up an infection.

Saints certainly have enough cover to play without the three players mentioned above but at such a busy time of the season in terms of the fixture list, Ralph Hasenhuttl would be keen to have his players available as we know how much he likes to rotate.
