Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl has claimed that forward Michael Obafemi lacks professionalism in his life.
The Saints boss says that Obafemi must learn quickly if he wants to fulfill his potential and become a great player for the club in the future.
Speaking to The Daily Echo, Hasenhuttl said this:
He still has a lack of professionalism in his whole life.
This is a young guy who must learn quickly. If he does this and gets more physical, fit and can make this workload for a longer time, then he has a big future.
Obafemi has scored once this season, against Fulham in the League Cup, and has suffered a number of knocks that have hindered his progress.

Obafemi is still only 19 and has plenty of time to develop as a person and a player, in order to improve his fitness and workload in games. He is a powerful sprinter, which puts stress on the muscles in his legs – causing these muscular injuries that keep reoccurring. If he is not careful this could become a theme throughout his career, which means that he needs to listen to the advice of the Southampton medical staff and do the utmost to improve his muscular endurance.
If he can do that, coupled with his finishing ability and movement off the ball, he could become a key player for Southampton in the future. A loan move in January could be a potential option for Obafemi, in order for him to gain valuable playing time every week.
